| Minimum Requirements | Grade 12 or NC (V) Level 4 plus Degree/National Diploma (NQF 6) in Engineering, Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent qualification. 2-3 years relevant experience in employment services or Administration environment in the TVET student placement Sector. Teaching experience & qualified Artisans and/or industry experience will serve as a very strong added advantage for recommendation. |
| Competencies, Knowledge and Skills | in-depth knowledge of the Employment service market, Public Service prescripts, DHET Policies, Industrial operation, Identification of opportunities in the market, Labour Market and Opportunity linkages with industries. Promotion of young intrapreneurs and innovation. The following competencies are also essential Excellent Communication (oral and written), Networking, Negotiation, Research, Interpersonal, Planning, Organising, Computer, Promotion and Placement. |
| Duties | Provide and facilitate the placement of students, conduct job readiness training programmes Liaison with commerce, industry and other relevant stakeholders, Maintain the student tracking system, Maintain and update employer and student placement database, develop a quality electronic report and statistics, Monitoring and evaluation of work placement practices, conduct a work-based assessment for students. |
