Minimum Requirements Incumbent should have a relevant Senior Certificate / Grade 12/ NCV Certificate (Level 4) plus Diploma/Degree in Nursing (registered with a Professional Nursing Council) or Diploma/Diploma in Education, majoring in Primary Health or related subjects. Should be registered with SACE.
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills Curriculum development, Creation of a conducive learning environment. Lesson presentation and methodology. Classroom management, Learner assessment. Recording and analysing data, Development of learning field competency, and Professional conduct. Management of the curriculum, Knowledge and implementation of digital learning, and Management of resources. Knowledge of relevant prescripts, legislation and policies; Registered Assessor and Moderator.
Duties Able to teach Community Oriented Primary Care/Public Health/South African Health Care Systems Level 2-Level 4 and any other related subjects. Not limited to undertaking all teaching and learning functions relating to the Primary Health Curriculum for NCV Programmes and relevant subjects in Report 191/NATED programmes where applicable. Perform relevant administrative duties and assist with extracurricular activities.
