Since 2022 the College has reached a resolution that only the National Diploma and Artisans will form part of the College Graduation and Certificate ceremony which is a huge event on the college calendar. With that being agreed upon, the Wynberg Skills Centre Management sat down and planned to have their own graduation and top achiever ceremony to ensure that the students at Wynberg don’t feel side-lined.

A total of thirty-three Beauty Therapy and five Hair­care students graced the stage in their graduation regalia with their families cheering for them across the hall. The College Council Chairperson Dr Alice King was also present at the ceremony to honour and motivate the students moving forward with their careers.

The day ended with two top achievers announced from both Beauty Therapy and Haircare. Haircare student Enya Schomer with an average of 93,57% and Beauty Therapy student Shamsoniesa Karriem with an average of 98% were the two lovely ladies who walked away with the top achievers for the 2021 academic year.
